Position:  Goalkeeper

Your football team: Sunderland

Occupation: British Airways Network Operations Executive

Any other charity events you taken part in: Great South Run 2013, Windsor Half Marathon 2014

What drives you: Keeping fit

Your best training track for when things get tough: Little Mix Move

Your target time for the half marathon: Under 2 hours

 

Lee Grist 2Lee Grist

Hometown: Woking

Age: 34

How long played for Vale: 7 years (I think!)

Position: Centre Back (defence)

Football Team: Tottenham Hotspur

Occupation: Civil Servant

What drives you: Raising money for a great cause and running together with some brilliant teammates

Best training track: Rocky IV training montage track of course

Target time: 1:50, hopefully a bit under

 

Stuart WoolmerStuart Woolmer 2

Hometown: Byfleet

Age: 24

How long you have played for Vale: 1st season at the club

Position:  Left or Right Back (defence)

Your football team: Chelsea

Occupation: Accountant

Any other charity events you taken part in: Surrey Half Marathon, London Marathon in April 2015

What drives you: Breaking personal bests, keeping fit and raising as much money as possible.

Your best training track for when things get tough: Once – Diana Vickers

Your target time for the half marathon: Sub 1 hour 40 minutes

Hometown: Byfleet

Age: 32

How long you have played for Vale: 15 Years

Position: Centre Back (defence)

Your football team: Manchester United

Occupation: Store Operations Co-Ordinator for M&S

Any other charity events you taken part in: London Marathon 2009, 2011, 2014, Great South Run 2009, 2010, 2014, Reading Half Marathon 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014, Surrey Half Marathon 2014

What drives you: Medals! Only joking, challenging myself to do better each time and knowing that by doing this I am helping a really great cause.

Your target time for the half marathon: 1:45 – 1:50

Age: 27

Position: Central Midfield

Supports: Arsenal

Occupation: Cardiac physiologist

Driven by: the ability to support the local community, and the want to beat my teammates
