Over half term we ran an inspiring graffiti workshop for 6 of our young people. This was a fantastic opportunity for them to learn a new skill, get in touch with their artistic side, whilst making some new friends!
At the start of the day they worked together to develop their designs which were themed around how they feel Eikon should be viewed by others. Once their designs had been completed, they reached for the spray cans and got to work.
After 4 hours of graffiti madness here are some photos of the work produced:
Once the day was over, Julian our Graffiti extraordinaire got to work on painting a mural at Eikon’s HQ.
Here is the incredible piece of artwork he created…
This amazing project was funded by the hard work of our long-term supporters, Heathervale FC. In March, 6 of these footballers took part in the Surrey Half Marathon which raised vital funds to run inspirational projects such as this one. Read about their fundraising here.
What a fantastic half term at Eikon!
