Our youth clubs are now running, in line with government Covid-19 guidelines.
We have face to face youth clubs running in Cromwell, Sunbury-on-Thames and Surrey Heath, you can find out more information about these here. These offer an opportunity for young people aged 11-18 to chill out, have fun and make new friends in a safe space.
We run Virtual Youth Clubs, available for Surrey-wide young people aged 11-17. These include an open session, a session for young carers and a monthly Influence Hub, where young people can play a role in shaping and informing Eikon’s services. For more information about these, click here.
For young people who identify as LGBT+, we have a weekly virtual youth club, IAmMe. IAmMe offers a safe space for questions, support, discussions, activities and to make new friends. We have two sessions each Wednesday, one for ages 12-15 and one for ages 16-18. You can find out more about IAmMe here.
We are working hard across the organisation to keep young people, staff, volunteers, visitors and facilities users as safe as possible following all current government guidelines. As an organisation we are committed to providing you the information you need to be able to make informed choices and where necessary changes to your usual activities in our building and services.
We have completed Covid-19 specific risk assessments and put in place appropriate actions to manage the risks identified. This includes but is not limited to regular staff testing, enhanced cleaning procedures, provision of face masks and hand sanitiser where appropriate and completion of all necessary track and trace measures. This is an ongoing priority for us and these risk assessments are reviewed regularly to ensure that we are complying with government guidance to minimise transmission risk.
