School Resources
This year’s theme, Action, reflects a growing recognition that while awareness matters, real change happens when it is put into practice. The resources on this page have been created by our Eikon Schools Programmes Team to support schools in taking practical, meaningful action this Mental Health Awareness Week and beyond.

Audio interview with Dr Jeremy Hannay-Â Executive HeadteacherÂ
This Mental Health Awareness Week, we hear from Dr Jeremy Hannay, Executive Headteacher of Three Bridges and Wolf Fields Primary Schools- a school leader renowned for creating cultures of wellbeing. Three Bridges Primary has been described by The Guardian as “the happiest school on earth” and praised as an “outstandingly happy school”, reflecting its deep commitment to wellbeing at every level.
Parent and Carer Wellbeing
Our Family Wellbeing service, in partnership with the YMCA East Surrey, empowers parents with the tools and knowledge to support wellbeing. This recording and downloadable worksheet from Gemma Gay (YMCA’s Family Wellbeing Service) encourages parents and carers to pause and reflect on their own wellbeing. Using the Healthy Mind Platter by Dr Daniel Siegel, she highlights gaps where our mental health could be improved and easy-to-access strategies to do this.
Wellbeing in the Workplace
Gemma Benbow, People & Organisation Director at Surrey‑based Kia UK, shares her perspective as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, representing an organisation recognised by Great Place to Work as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces (2026) and one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing (2025). In her reflections, Gemma explores how Kia has intentionally built and sustained a strong culture of wellbeing, creating an environment where people feel supported and empowered to thrive at work.
