Youth Support Practitioner

Support for young people

Our Youth Support Practitioner Programme places fully qualified youth work or education professionals into secondary schools on a full or part-time basis.  The Youth Support Practitioners become embedded within the school community and are well placed to identify at-risk young people.   Students can self-refer or be referred by school staff, parents, police or other agencies.   The Youth Support Practitioners assess each case then enrol the young people on one or more of the following:

• One-to-one sessions
• Group work
• Support groups
